Delete Your Account

If you no longer wish to use Spoken, you can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile and content from our active systems, subject to the limited retention described below.

What happens when you delete your account

  • Your profile and account are immediately scheduled for deletion.

  • Your audio recordings, captions, and private sharing networks (Family & Friends) are removed from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.

  • Crash/error logs may be retained for 30–90 days to ensure platform stability.

  • Email delivery logs (e.g., password reset, invites) may be retained for 30–60 days for troubleshooting.

Tip: If you want to keep any recordings, please download them before you delete your account.

Delete your account in the app (recommended)

  1. Open Spoken and go to Settings → Account.

  2. Tap Delete Account.

  3. Confirm your identity (you may be asked to re‑enter your password or sign in again).

  4. Confirm you want to permanently delete your account and content.

You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion workflow begins and another when it completes.

Request deletion on the web

If you prefer to submit your request on the web, visit spoken-bible.com/delete and follow the instructions. You’ll receive a confirmation email once we start the process.

If you cannot access your account email, contact support@spoken-bible.com and include: (1) your account email, (2) the device/platform you used, and (3) a brief confirmation that you’re requesting account deletion.
